about me

Hi, I’m Sarah.

I am a fully qualified counsellor, specialising in addiction therapy.

I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Addiction Psychology and Counselling.

I am fully insured and I attend regular clinical supervision and CPD to ensure I am working safely and up-to-date.

I work in a pluralistic way – meaning I do not believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I will adjust my approach to you.

I currently offer remote sessions via Google Meet, and in-person sessions in Rugby. In exceptional circumstances, where video calling or in-person sessions create a barrier to treatment, I can also offer telephone counselling.

My Counselling Approaches

  • person-centred therapy

I will listen to you, and hear you - helping you to offload and process the things that have been weighing you down.

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy

We reflect on what may be blocking you, and learn skills on how to overcome these obstacles. Helping you to change the way you think, feel and behave so you can have the life you deserve.

  • addiction therapy

We will use psychological techniques to create motivation, prevent relapse, and maintain a new, healthier way of life. This is your new beginning.
